I’ve created this font when I worked at Fluidesign in Santa Monica. Art director Brock Batten asked me if I could design a super heavyweight font. I wasn’t sure how to call it though and Heavyesque didn’t sound that great. He finally went back a few days later, told me “Turducken” and showed me the recipe online.
J’ai créé la Turducken quand je travaillais chez Fluidesign à Santa Monica. Brock Batten, le directeur artistique, m’avait demandé de réaliser une typo du genre poids lourd. Au début, je pensais l’appeler Heavyesque, mais ça sonnait mal. Quelques jours plus tard, il est venu à mon bureau, m’a dit «Turducken» et m’a montré la recette sur internet.
